This ever-popular tournament again attracted a high class entry. The entry included the players in the team to represent Suffolk in the under-17 Inter-County Tournament at Nottingham University just before Easter.

Three closely-fought sections were played with runners-up and winners of the sections goin to to a knock-out finals event.

Last year’s winners James Scott & Freya Webb lost 21-20 to become second the their section to the ever-improving James Clouting ably supported by Lisa Jacobs.

Andrew Hayward and Sarah Rooney were barely challenged in their section with George Isherwood and Izzy Lucas being second placed.

Whilst in the other section, previous winners of this event Miguel Soler & Susan Poole ad to take second place to youth in the form of Timothy Scott & Ash Gormer.

These results led to play-offs between George Isherwood & Izzy Lucas (owe 7) v. James Clouting & Lisa Jacobs (owe 14) with James and Lisa winning 21-16.

Whilst Miguel Soler & Susan Poole (owe 14) v. James Scott & Freya Webb (owe 14) with James and Freya winning 21-15.
