The insurance policy is aimed at covering the ‘Leaders’ or ‘Experienced’ players accredited to the Suffolk Badminton Association.

 

Public Liability

Public Liability will provide cover for your legal liability for loss or damage to property (not owned by you or in your custody or control) or injury to any third party arising out of your coaching activity.

This insurance will cover you in the event that you are found to be negligent in your duty to participants and / or spectators and as a result of your negligence cause personal injury or property damage.

Limit of Indemnity - £10,000,000.

Exclusions

● Any act that the insurer considers being deliberate, intentional or reckless.

● Actions of the policyholder whilst under suspension by the     clubs/league/association.

 

 

Professional Indemnity

Increased social awareness of an individual’s rights and the remedy they might seek has created an era of litigation previously unseen.  The so-called compensation culture means that anybody providing a service or giving advice may one day face a claim for alleged negligence.  The Professional Indemnity policy can provide cover for those who may find themselves in this situation.

Limit of Indemnity - £5,000,000.

Exclusions

● This is a claims made insurance – cover applies to losses notified during the     period insurance.

● Any act that the insurer considers being deliberate, fraudulent or dishonest.

● Physical assault.

● Breach of contract.

Premium

£115.50 (including insurance premium tax at 5%)

Cover will not apply until Bluefin confirm receipt of a satisfactorily completed form and premium.
