General information:

Friendly club, membership around 35 of which 15 approx turn up for club. The standard of play is good, typically league division 3 standard.

The club continues to play through the summer months.

The club has two men’s, one ladies’ and two mixed teams in the Ipswich & District Badminton League; also a men’s and a mixed team in the Bury and District Badminton League.

‘A’ team matches are played at Stowmarket Leisure Centre (4 courts) on Tuesdays at 8pm (mixed, men’s & ladies’ in the Ipswich & District Badminton League).

‘B’ team matches from September 2009 will be played at Needham Market Community Centre (2 courts) on Wednesdays 7:15pm (men’s and mixed in the Ipswich & District Badminton League and in the Bury & District Badminton League).

Plastic shuttles are normally used, but Yonex feather for Division 1 league matches.
